Príbeh za projektom
Celý projekt vznikol z jedného prostého momentu. Vždy, keď som sa pozeral na nočnú oblohu, fascinovala ma jej hĺbka. Zároveň ma trápilo, že hviezdy a súhvezdia nad sebou nedokážem pomenovať. Chcel som večer vyjsť von a presne vedieť, čo mi práve svieti nad hlavou.
Z tej túžby po poznaní nakoniec po nociach plných programovania vznikol AstroPulse. Nechcel som ďalšiu učebnicu v mobile, ale pokojného spoločníka: aplikáciu, ktorá funguje aj tam, kde nie je signál, nevyžaduje účet a nevyrušuje. Vyjdeš von, namieriš telefón a obloha ti začne rozprávať svoje príbehy.
AstroPulse je nezávislý projekt jedného vývojára a ešte nie je hotový. Chcem pridávať ďalšie príbehy hviezd a hlbokého vesmíru a ilustrácie súhvezdí. Ak ti niečo chýba alebo ťa niečo nadchlo, napíš mi. Najlepšie nápady vznikajú práve z tvojich správ.
The story behind AstroPulse
This project started with one simple moment. Whenever I looked at the night sky, I was fascinated by its depth. Yet it bothered me that I couldn't name the stars and constellations above me. I wanted to step outside in the evening and know exactly what was shining over my head.
That wish, and many nights of programming, led to AstroPulse. I didn't want another textbook on my phone. I wanted a quiet companion: an app that works even where there's no signal, needs no account, and never interrupts. You step outside, point your phone, and the sky starts telling you its stories.
AstroPulse is an independent project by one developer, and it isn't finished yet. I want to add more stories about the stars and the deep sky, and illustrations of the constellations. If something is missing, or something delighted you, write to me. The best ideas come from your messages.
